Kidron Children’s Home (KCH) is a Community Based Organization with 12 staff members which was established in 2000 after viewing the great need of vulnerable children and abandoned babies in our community. KCH is situated in a rural village of Naminya-Njeru Kayunga Road in Buikwe, Wakisi division, Uganda East Africa.
Currently we have 30 children of which 25 are below 10 years.
Our vision
Championing the plight of the orphaned, abandoned and needy children so as to grow with self-esteem and lead productive, constructive and resourceful lives in their communities and homes.
Our Mission
Meet the immediate needs of vulnerable, abandoned and orphaned children in Uganda through provision of food, shelter, clothing, education and health care and settling them in permanent homes.
Objectives
- To eradicate illiteracy through promoting education, mobilize bursary scheme for the orphans and the talented but less privileged or financially disadvantaged people.
- To Support and provide care for abandoned, destitute and orphaned infants/ children.
- To Support and ensure improvement in the quality of life of such children mentioned above.
- To Support, join, establish religious worship centers, organizing conferences, seminars, conventions, crusades, drama, radio and T.V talk shows for groups or community religious values and collective society in a fight against social-moral threats like Drug abuse, alcoholism, child sacrifice, female genital mutilation, ethnic violence, civil wars, child abandonment etc.
